Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni settled their legal dispute tied to the movie “It Ends With Us,.”
In a joint statement, the parties said: “The end product — the movie “It Ends With Us” — is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors — and all survivors — is a goal that we stand behind.”
The statement continued: “We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard. We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments. It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment.”
The settlement came one month after a judge dismissed most of Lively’s claims against Baldoni, including allegations of sexual harassment.
According to documents obtained by E! News, the judge dismissed 10 of 13 counts, leaving claims of retaliation, breach of contract, and abetting retaliation for a jury trial that had been scheduled to begin later this month.
Lively accused her “It Ends With Us” co-star and director in 2024 of sexual harassment. She also alleged that his production company, Wayfarer Studios, retaliated against her after she complained about alleged misconduct on the film.
Baldoni filed a countersuit against Lively in 2025, shortly after her December 2024 filing, accusing her of extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy. His case was dismissed in June 2025, and the final judgment in November ended it after his legal team did not file an amended complaint by the court’s deadline.
