Mackenzie Dalton was reported missing on Jan. 3 by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department. She was last seen leaving her home in late November, carrying a suitcase and driving a vehicle that has since been recovered, according to a department news release.

The sheriff’s department described Dalton as a runaway. Officials believe she may be traveling with a man she knows, although his identity and relationship to her have not been disclosed.

Dalton is described as 5-foot-4 and 118 pounds. A photo released by the department shows her with long hair that may have been dyed blonde.

While authorities have not said whether foul play is suspected, they classified her as endangered. No details were provided about the reason for that designation.
